Stefanos Stavroulis
Diagnostic Radiologist – Scientific Coordinator
Stefanos Stavroulis was born in Archangelos, Rhodes on 25/02/1954. After graduating from the six-year Gymnasium of Rhodes, he was admitted to the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During his studies he was particularly interested in Diagnostic Radiology, and in 1985 he obtained the Diploma in Diagnostic Radiology.
After a five-year research and extensive practice in the field, he became the Director of the Radiological Laboratory of IKA (Social Security Institute) of Rhodes.
Since 1986 he decided to use his experience and specialized knowledge in the founding of a contemporary private diagnostic lab in Rhodes offering fast and quality diagnostic tests to the islanders.
In 2022 the Microbiology Laboratory was launched and added to the Diagnostic Center, to provide integrated preventive medical care, making the company one of Greece's top Diagnostic Centers with ever-evolving services.
Manos Stavroulis
Diagnostic Radiologist – Interventional Radiologist
Manos Stavroulis was born in Rhodes on 11/07/1980. After graduating from the 2nd High School of Rhodes in June 1998, he was admitted among the first twenty applicants at the University of L'Aquila School of Medicine in Italy (Facoltà di Medicina dell'Università degli studi dell'Aquila) from where he graduated in 2004 with excellence and honors (110’/110 – centodiecielode).
His brilliant academic career continued as he was admitted second in the Diagnostic Radiology School and Interventional Radiology of L'Aquila University Hospital in Italy, from where he obtained the title of specialty in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology in 2008.
The doctor specialized in Body, Neuro and Musculoskeletal CT and MRI Scanning with the corresponding interventional departments, while throughout his 4-year training at L'Aquila University Hospital, he participated in Italian national as well as international and European conferences. At the same time, he was a member of the radiological team of Italy's National Rugby Team.
Since July 2009 he has been adding his specialized expertise and experience in Stavroulis Diagnostic Laboratory implementing new technologies and practices adding innovation and excellence to diagnosis and prevention.
Manolis Stavroulis, son of Dimitrios
Microbiologist - Biopathologist Doctor
Manolis Stavroulis was born in Archangelos, Rhodes on 14/12/1973. After graduating from High School of Archangelos in 1992, he was admitted among the first at the School of Medicine of Bologna University in Italy (Facolta di Medicina e Chirurgia dell’Universita degli studi di Bologna) from where he graduated in 2001 with excellence and honors (110’/110 – centodieci e lode).
After the completion of his practice at a rural health center in Kalymnos, in September 2004 he began his specialty in Microbiology-Biopathology at the Rhodes General Hospital and then at the General Hospital of Athens “Evangelismos” and was awarded the title of specialty in Medical Microbiology-Biopathology in 2009.
The doctor specialized for 6 months at the General Hospital of Athens “Evangelismos” in the Department of Immunology – Histocompatibility where he had extensive practice in ELIZA techniques, immunodiffusion, indirect immunofluorescence and clinical evaluation of the results in Systemic and Organic Autoimmune Diseases.
From 2010 to 2022 he worked at the Microbiological Laboratory of Rhodes General Hospital as Attending Physician B’ and for the last 5 years as Attending Physician B’. At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic he played a dominant role in the proper construction and organization of the newly established Covid-19 sample analysis department with the method of Real-time PCR at the Microbiological Department of Rhodes General Hospital, where he performed additional duties as responsible for PCR-based tests from 2020 to August 2022.
Since September 2022 he has been in charge of the brand-new Microbiological-Biopathological Lab at Stavroulis Diagnostic Center.
